It was one of those videos that they use when they first hire people talking about customer service. Failed Blockbuster Video Prank
Another one of my failed prank videos from "Skip TV," my sketch comedy show on L.A. public access TV (1992-1994). We expected to put the fake ruined videotape in the drop box and then have it be ignored by the staff, but to our surprise one of them picked it up, read the note and looked up at as with purpose, so we ran. We really didn't have a backup plan, and frankly it probably would have been funnier if they just never grabbed the video out of he box. But still, we always have fun going out and messin' with people! ....as long as it's harmless fun, kids! :)
